the actual Consul election!

notyoueither's position is open for election/re-election. You have three candidates, all of whom have been involved in campaigining the last few days. The candidate, when elected or re-elected, will be Consul and stand for re-election in another three months (start of Jan 2004), CoCs excepting.

Outraged at Schwarzenegger's election? Ecstatic at it? Time to vote in a REAL election. What did this paragraph have to do with this election? Very very little, but that's my mood for you.

I protest this poll. Candidates should be placed alphabetically on the ballot. By putting notyouagain first, even though alphabetically he should be 3rd, you are revealing your own bias in this matter, and may be unfairly swaying the electorate.

Mind you, not that it matters. I am supremely confident of victory. The people will see the true path to a more enlightened Apolyton and vote 'Beta'.

Yes - this election is turning out just the way I expected. The early votes went to notyouagain. Some clearly deranged individuals voted for the Mouse. But you see, the late surge is coming. Just you wait,

Well, there are 99 members in the ISDG, and 91 authorized. As of my post, 38 had voted. That is a paltry 42% turn out. With even a conservative estimate that I get 85% of the remaining eligible voters. That would be 45 additional votes and I win by a landslide.

So - if nya and MZZ will now acknowledge their defeat in this election, I will get ready to give my acceptance speech.

And btw - if you are part of that remaining 15% who are still undecided, please see the facts that have recently come to light regarding my opponents in their campaign threads.

Thank you for making the wise choice - citizens of Apolyton.
