Yeah, it used to be better when Cort was still playing, I have to wait until after work. I fear that it will be rare that you can play in the same evening as I can. I do my best to hurry... but as we are in the same time zone, this won't improve a lot.

No, not at all. He's still active in our forum. But Cort needed a break, playing the turn is quite taxing. In 20 or so turns, I hope he will take over again, in the mean time I do my best to be on time

Here it is nearly midnight and a turn takes about 2 hours all together for Posts in forums, Mails, Discussions,...
And then is not so much spare time left next days.

Zayxus, that shouldn't be a problem. (says the one who went over the 24h limit twice allready). We can't help it that we have the same time periods that we play the turn, it's just unfortunate we follow in play order.

wow, I had major computer problems these past 3 days (accidentally formatted my hard drive - DON'T LAUGH ) then BIOS/memory problems and I couldn't install XP, then I remember a friend of mine had my C3C CD and I only got it until today...

My sent folder shows the mail, though, with save attached. I do not know why you didn't receive it...

My memory went bad and my WinXP went kaput. I am running on WinME currently and am in the process of reinstalling my programs (including Civ).

I understand you may be lacking time to play a turn from time to time, but is GS really down to the very last player? This is not the first occasion of GS holding the save for more than 24hrs... I would not dare to say a word if there was a war raging on - then, 24hrs is too short a time to discuss and agree on a response to the ever-changing ingame situation. But we are now in peaceful times, where most can be planned and the rest may be easily adjusted on-the-fly by a competent turn player...

Would GS consider appointing a backup player authorized to play your turns if you are unable to?
