9 PM is fine by me, but the key person is always Frank. However early he can get out of work is the determining factor for our start time. I'd very much prefer earlier if possible.

Frank, change my wonder to Leif Ericson's Voyage. I believe in the Viking scenario they use that wonder and have a graphic. Use that, or find a more suitable graphic. Thanks.

Crap it looks like i'm gonna be late for the session this week. Damn it, I picked a bad time to reestablish a social life.

My friend is having a birthday dinner thing, so I'm obligated to go. I asked him to make it as early as he can. I'm aiming to get back around 11. Sorry folks, but no way in hell do I want to risk going AI again. Please just wait for me.

I just noticed that the spot of forest you put for panama is at a bad spot, Frank.

Its at 26, 70, and if that spot is turned to ocean then north america and south america are entirely seperated and can no longer be linked by land.

25, 69 would be more appropriate. Can this be fixed?

Sounds reasonable to me, just get everyone to agree to a later finish and everyone will be pleased

No you have to build forrest where you wan the canal same as in suez canal, not fair if it easier to build panama canal than suez,

personally i think suez will never be built

Yea i know, I wanted Suez to be easier to be built too, but it makes much more sense to have forest in central america than on the Sinai. I guess we'll just have to deal with it.

True, but we can change the rules in the session after someone builds Eiffel. We can reduce the number of turns needed for canal construction.

I invite you all to discuss about this. I say we reduce the number of turns to 10 or maybe 20. That way Suez will surely be built.

I think the turns are appropriate and shouldn't be changed. Remember that things speed up very much once Engineers are developed. This was the idea behind it, we didn't want anyone to be building the canals early in the game, but rather wait until engineers.

One engineer can do it in 20 turns, 2 can do it in 10, and so on. Its not that bad at all.

Have you played diplo style before? It not the usual sort of game. If you interested read the HOTW4 thread and see what been happening and get a feel for the game, if you still interested PM me and I will fill you in on what my plans are.
