	The Story so far. Got spare money?

Well HOTW4 is reaaly starting to heat up, as expected the discovery of the New world has heated up tensionsthroughout the word.

The English arrived first and soon set up citys and trying to remove the locals. The Serbs followed and soon had a peaceful agreement with the English for a split, But shock and alas The Chinese had arrived first and settled California (Yes they braved the voyage in Triremes round the cold Berring Straits) This and the sudden settlign by the Tartars caused the first major military conflict since the Egyptian Tartar war, which was the only war since the Serb Tartar war. (Hmmm common link here is the Tartars!!!!)

Strage indeed though was when the Serbas attacked the English fleet (Now that was a pretty bad sea manouvering move!!)

Peace befell the world when the Tartars city was destryoed, but soon they were back and war looked inevitable again.

Meanwhile in the southern new worlds; Indian , Azande and Razlamics vied for the occupation of this area, but as is the way of these people, it was done far more peacefully.

Finally the English built a city in Central America so they can have their own Canal and reached agreeemnt with Serbs to do the same. This infringment so close to Razlamic territory has upset the Razlams but no war has occurred.

And so the next session looks very interesting. Will the Chinese be forced out of the Americas? Will expansion on South Aemrica lead to more war? Will Tartars keep pushing their goals of land in the New World? Will the Serbs try to sink more English Fleets? Will Razlam become the one true religion throughout the world?

China has an agreement that legitimizes their californian settlement. Also, no agreement has been reached reguarding central american settlement, which is not covered under the treaty of Budva. Of course, whomever deals with the natives will have claim there. China however has agreed to limit their new colonies to represent their pacific rim interests.

PLEASE find a sub, and someone who will actually show up. I'm gonna start a recruiting thread. I can check in every once in a while, and I will send instructions to whoever the sub is. PLEASE ask around. I don't want to go AI again....

Well its the holiday season, and you all know what that means, going to your local mall and enduring crowds and long lines and stuff. It also means my local mall is open both eariler and later than usualy.

There's the possibility that in the future I could have to work an hour later than normal. I probably won't know untill a couple of days before hand if its gonna be that way. If it happens it'll delay the game an hour to 45 minutes while I rush home. Sorry about that, Ill let you know when I know.

Well I can make it this this week. My stupid car is leaking anti-freeze, and I can't make it back to Michigan. So I'm stuck here for the holiday.

Pisses me off, but bright side is I get to play civ. I guess.

Well....I cant tell you exactly when Ill be late. Since my boss is a slacker its usually friday night when I get saturday's schedule. I just let everyone know because it might be an on going problem untill new years or so. Basicly Raz just needs another backup sub.

Seems everyone pretty easy when it coems to my civ about gettin subs or AI to play, but if some one late we wait for them, (which is fair) Would be interested to see if any of those pushing for AI control actually allow their civ in any game to go same way.. I notice in other threads games are postponed if not al are attending

Look Raz, you hardly ever are available. You are constantly looking for subs. Every civ has helped your civ by ceding cities etc. I've showed for every session and so has Berz, Ljube & Winzity. ozzy had one AI session and so did Dang. You have to try and keep this going with 4 hour sessions. 11pm USA Sat is the 'normal' start and we don't wait much past that time.

Let's not pull game situation politics into the scheduling of the game. We've all got to work or do various stuff. I'm young, so I get screwed and have to work weird hours and attend university.

I'm sorry about your plight Raz, but really, you can either find a sub for me for 45 minutres, or we can find a sub for trev for 2 hours, either is fine with me.

i too am fine with some one subbing my civ, but if my civ is forced to go to ai then as deity says i am never here so that is how it will be. I have work committments same as evryone and i do what i can to paly anyway. I finsih 12 hour nightshifts and stay here to paly a game with no sleep. Yet obviously this is not enough for some people. when i scheduled to work day shift on sunday, i cannot get out of it. last week i manages to stay a slong as i could before attending an emergeny callout at work, i got trev to be there to paly my turns.

not once has any one told me trev leaves early till this week and i was not awar of it , he has subbe dfor me 3 times.

if trev is unable to paly whole session i call for others tooo sub in his place. to make a longer session.

even if some one can just do the last few hours, but tdue to the critical baklance of current game if a new sub doesnt contact me for details then the whole game may be swung out of balance.

I am fine with whatever you guys choose to do . Play on by all means, go to your hearts content

Well another amazing session was has had last week, world tensions continue to rise as expansion in new world gets faster.

The Serbs/English claims for North American Supremacy are being challenged by Chinese and Tartars , South America is filling fast as the Azande expand like rabbits.

Africa is officially full with only part of arabian peninsula available. Europe has been occupied and shared peacefully by Serbs/Englsih. Asia is filling fast with Razlamic Egyptian Fundamentalism breaking out in central Asia.

Only the Islands of OCeania and Australia remain unfilled and may be next targets for expansionists.

What will happen this session? Will The Indians react to the foriegnesrs heading to OCeania, a palce they have lived alone in for so long. Will English/Serb alliance be finally broken as they fight over whats left of America? Will the Azande witch doctors push to hard and find Egytpians sitting in there palaces?

For all this and more stay tuned for the latest HOTW4 session

Guys. we really need t osee some improvements in the number of posts in the story thread.

At least one post per session should be minimum. Only takes five minutes to write a breif story of what happened and why.

THe whole point of diplo games is to have interaction, at moment we have very little. Come on guys you know who you are~~~~~

And to name a few names here is a list of who been posting at story thread....

and it very bad when AH gets to post as often as obne of the maon characterss

Hey Frank, could you turn the following picture into the icon for Adam Smith's? That'd be great. Its a pic of the Bank of England. Which is pretty much what I want my wonder to be, except I built it in France, so I can't really call it the Bank of England. Name it the Bank of Britain.

I do my best.

But as the DiploFAQ says, each player in a diplogame has his strength's and weaknesses. Some have technical skill (Frank) some are dependable players (Deity, Berz) others are good posters (Ozzy, Raz). We each bring something good to the Diplo stew.
