I just had been banned form Off Topic. And I realized that people view Off Topic as part of their life. It's time to tell them that it is all a game.

The people that post at Apolyton are a funny bunch of characters. Ming- A Dictator, Black Dragon- Rebel etc.. If you want to go discuss real life situations go to a politics forum not a game site that has a little thread called off topic. I mean why do people get mad when somebody starts a group to overthrow a moderator? Not like the groups going to win. But that is the glory of off topic. It's a virtual world where people interact by the Internet. It is a game in its own.

Look at the threads that off topic has "Best Dog?" "Down with Gun Control!! ","World War III ", and several others. It is not like these threads matter. They won't change the world. But they do give you a chance for discussing. When people get bored they go and discuss things that they normally wouldn't discuss. Some want to see what mischief they can cause for a laugh. I don't understand why people get mad because they banned spink and YYYH. They abused their privileges. I would have done the same thing if I were the administrator. But I am not and Spink and YYYH do still post under different nicknames. I assure you that Mark and Dan knows this.

The people that post at off topic are little virtual characters. I am sure that they all don't act like this in real life. They have another personality when they are on the web. If they mention something about you that might be bad don't care about it. It is the net. People say allot of stupid things. That dose not mean that you have to care about what they say. There words will not influence your life. Or they might but I will doubt it. The net is a great place for communication but I doubt that our little off topic influences the world.

In conclusion don't take the internet very seriously. It is all a game :) It wont influence you. Dont take things out on pepole because all they do is have fun. They use the net for laughs, disscusions and fun. They interact to see diffrent views.
