STEFU: Faces of Apolyton #7, 19/Mar/2002

Stefu H-Tower: How many of the smilies that the site uses were made by you?
Stefu: Quite many. I'm too lazy to count. Over 10, in any case. At least the dizzy one and the heartbroken one and the hmm and...

DarkCloud: Should Apolyton cover SidGolf?
Stefu: That's for Markos to decide [and me; on that front, the decision has already been made not to cover SG -- DanQ]. I'm just a lowly little human being and can't do more to influence administration than to vote every four years.Incidentally, this site will be four years old next summer. Where can I get my absentee ballot? If you ask my opinion, no. Then again, I don't intend to buy it, so I'm just being selfish.

DarkCloud: What is your favorite accomplishment?
Stefu: There are so many of them.

Lessee. Finnthread, certainly, since it's been good way for us Finns to just breeze off and relax. AnnC's Secret Diary was very therapeutic for me to write, especially since she had done something especially stupid that inspired me to write that. And then there was Religion thread in Civ3 Suggestions List. All hail the great Turywenzo! All hail my ability to recall odious catchphrases everyone else had forgotten! All hail my ability to do pompous nerd jokes that annoy everyone!

DarkCloud: What have you accomplished that you feel is important at Apolyton?
Stefu: World hunger and end to world peace. Nothing, actually. Well, Religion thread may have influenced the cultural model a bit, but I still think our design was better.

Lancer: Stefu, how would you change Apolyton if you owned it?
Stefu: I'd install a crapload of banners, sell e-mail addresses of everyone to particularly obnoxious spam merchants, natch up the viewer count through furious advertising campaign, wait for the money to roll in, and move to Cayman islands. Then I'd return it to Markos [again, and me! -- DanQ], create a new identity and continue.

In other words, I don't wanna own Apolyton. I would have the leadership abilities of a small cantaloupe when leading it.

Jon Miller: What games do you currently play?
Stefu: It depends, it depends. I already answered this question earlier. Of course, because this question was included later than the question I already answered, this isn't your fault. this would make an interesting philosophical problem, if it wasn't for there not being anything philosophical or problematic about it, if you really think about it.
