STYOM is not up. I can't remember whether Bloody Monk started this (though I'm pretty sure he didn't), but if he wants to play then that's great and he can go next. Otherwise, Stu and I are still around, awaiting our turns.

Well, I only went by the playlist. I thought OnS went before me, and forgot to check the rest.

Anyways, Scouse Gits has a very fun turn, since it should be entirely dominated by conquest, and less movement of boats to the Mongol homeland.

It's so far away, when you look at it, yet he can bring up a shipchain from their to the mainland, by simply lengthening the end.

Yeah, it's the only way I got that stealth bomber to the front so quickly, which saved my bacon because both of the bombers flew the turn before to help me clear destroyers.

Bump to see if there is still any interest in Succession Games.

Not sure if there are any other "active" (and I use the word loosely) Succession Games right now.....but are their any other players around to play if a new one started? It seems that all of the Civ2 Forums have slowed as of late, but surely the succession games haven't all been played have they? (I hope not!! They have been among my favourite Apolyton threads )

2 decades would be the least for such a treachery

(personally, I am engaged in 3 PBEM games, 1 GOTM, 1 Tournament and 1 scenario + I don't remember how many succession games, since those succession games seem to be at a standstill = ready for anything new, let me know if you have something in mind)

*ducking* I am the one who started this monstrosity...

I might be up for a new game, but didn't want to start another one with this one still out there. I can't really get into the comparison/tournament games - not enough attention span for them. (Plus I get tired of putting up scores 200 turns behind the winner )

Would be nice to have this one completed. The game is at an interesting juncture. It would be a shame if it is left on the shelf like that "other game". Maybe the next player should pick up the sceptor and finish for "Stu the Reluctant".

Or make it a challenge open to all. Fewest turns to a checkmate is the winner,

You just want to make a longer succession game and beat the record of "Invasion Planet Earth".
One would need to check how many years it was but I remember that at the end I was the only player left out of the startlist
Maybe we should start a museum at the Institute for forgotten games
