Well, I'm not super surprised about the result. Though I'd be glad if people really thought before they answered. Considering other countries too.. there are more countreis with nukes. I think India and Pakistan are both more dangerous. Iran? North Korea? There are dangerous countries.

But maybe many people answered Israel, because some of the problems might start from that region. Not because of Israelis, but because they have many enemis in the area...

And to answer the other question: Yes, you should give a crap about European opinions. I mean your foreign policy that is. You can always wipe these polls with your butts.

Azazel, we get news from Israel every day almost. Either it's bombs exploding there, or IDF getting back at some baddies. Either way, it looks bad. Certainly this poll does not mean that this would mean Israel is the one to blame for the possible big threat.. it also means that since you guys are under attack and have WMDs, attacks all the time and civies dying in there... someone can lose it and go nuts. Certainly we don't consider Israel to be Europes threat, or enemy. Well at least I'd like to think, that people have voted like thsi because of the MASSIVE coverage.

Sometimes we have less domestic news than international.

The fact is that there is war in Israel. As long as this goes on, there will not be world peace. There is not a foreseeable solution to the war, hence the biggest threat to world peace, is Israel. Not necessarily a threat to peace in any other part of the world except Israel/Palestine, but a threat the concept of holistic world peace. North Korea? Troublesome, but not even at war. Lovely peaceful folks they be.

Although you could always please everbody and combine the three:
