College Football - The Bowls! Suffering from ads?

This deserves it own thread .

So a few night ago, a Washington State team from a 'weak' conference () beat down Texas (not as close as the final score indicated). Makes you wonder what is wrong with Texas... guess Chris Simms wasn't the reason they choked .

Iowa CRUSHED Florida and Maryland CRUSHED West Virginia.

Right now Purdue has amazingly come back against Georgia. They were down 24-10, now Georgia is up only by 3, but juuuuust fumbled in their own half with 1:14 left! WOW!

The Rose Bowl is coming up soon, which should be a HELL of a game.

Yeah... and Oklahoma couldn't win a game against a crappy team when the chips were down... It's kind of sad when the team the coaches think is number one doesn't even get an invitation to the "supposed" championship game. The BCS has proved what a piece of crap it really is... just a bunch of old farts who have nothing to do with college football trying to make some money on something they don't even own

I could've sworn the "you can't play if you lose your conference" fiasco happened a couple of years ago (NB losing to CO) and that the rules were changed to prevent that. Obviously, I was wrong.

Yep, for all their 'tweaks' they never touched that one, even though Nebraska didn't win their conference that year.

They HAVE to institute a two game playoff....this year would have been perfect for it, had USC played someone tougher in the Rose Bowl...BCS is FLAWED and WRONG.

Check out the Moos Plan from the home of the mighty Ducks, who, BTW, lost a heartbreaker to Minnesota (great game though) and beat the stuffing out of Michigan...worse than USC: http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0...1825445,00.html
