Oh, reply from Lucky up in the FA thread.
It's almost like he's trying to be civil... except he's not. Is he capable of it?
Anyway, looks like this is cleared up, although I agree with Lucky ( ) that it should be at least mentioned at the UN to avoid any further confusion for teams that might not know about the way PBEM handles peace treaties. Or maybe we could just try and get everyone to set "always renegotiate deals."

p.s. You know, in the PTWDGII, my team attacked a friendly team with whom we had a close relationship, including a tech trading partnership. Based on the tone and content of the diplo communications, they had every right to expect us to peacefully coexist and cooperate far into the future. For reasons that have been detailed elsewhere, that didn't happen and we launched a 2-on-1 war of aggression against them.
Yet PMs back and forth with them have been at least civil, at most downright friendly. Because they know that in the game of Civ, that stuff happens. It's part of the game. THAT's maturity, folks. That's the way you play a pbem. Kudos to team Monkey of the PTWDGII - offering an example of how a team SHOULD act.

Thanks Arrian.
The same goes for you English guys in dresses.
And you are exactly right, thats the way it should be played. And BOTH sides have handled it extremely well
And the public forum threads have been fun as well. And thank god they were all taken the correct way.
I just think Lucky is an immature arrogant pr1ck. And it comes out in his corrospondence. Its either that or the language translation.
Somehow, I dont think its a translation issue.
