Skanky: Actually, both are at the same number of rounds, and are worked out at the same time. However, semi final 1 was written first, and I only had time to write one yesterday. Now writing the other, expect in within an hour.

That wouldn't have worked in our case, b/c neither one of us could have blocked a KO with 10 or less hps.

I was thinking a coin toss; winner survives with 1 hp.

	Semi Final 2 - Round 5 Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Similar to the other semi-final, both gladiators walk out and adopt defensive postures. Skanky tries a feeble swing, and while it has some weight behind it, it doesn’t get anywhere near to connecting with Spacius.

All of a sudden, Spacius launches a hard, balanced assault. Though Skanky puts up his defences, they are not adequate, and Spacius lands his blow, hard to Skanky’s midsection, in a slicing motion. The power is immense, and it nearly tears through him, stopping short of his spinal column, but cutting his kidney. Blood gushes out of Skanky’s side. The crowd cheers such a brave and blood attack. Skanky tries to swing back, and almost falls forward, pushing his blade into Spacius’ shoulder, however it is just a flesh wound.

Skanky remains in a defensive posture, as Spacius launches another assault. Aiming for the heart, it is a skilful, if light, manoeuvre. Skanky dodges left, half falling, but on his way, he nicks Spacius’ right arm, causing some blood to spurt out. When he hits the ground, the bell has just gone for the end of the round. Drogue runs over to check on him. Though barely conscious, Skanky is obviously still alive, and a couple of members of the crowd rush down and drag him to his area at the side of the arena. Spacius walks back to his, clutching his arm.

The crowd cheers. A bloody assault that is still, albeit just, ongoing. They are enjoying this spectacle, as with the death of Theben, all eyes are on the possible challengers to The Doctor in the final. However the winner is seeming clear, unless Skanky can pull something quite special out of his bag.

Skanky Burns has 5 HP remaining and Spacius Maxiumus has 36 HP.
Accepting orders for round 6.

You have a point. I could consider that you are both knocked out, but survive, and that you come back with 20 HP. Or I could say the won who got the other to the lowest health, since one might be knocked out, but the other dead, if they were hurt more. I am in favour of the latter, and if that still draws (say both are reduced to exactly 0) then use the former?

If you mean the winner is the one that knocks his opponent down to the highest minus number then I disagree. One should always play to kill one's opponent, not kill him and then some. Dead is dead.

If it happens in the knockouts I'd favour moving both players back to some agreed upon level, like your other suggestion.

While both targets would be hit, the coin toss would represent who struck 1st. Would allow for some interesting writeups.

Or Re-assigning some hps would be fine too. I don't think it needs to be set in stone at this time.
