umm..I am a semi vet of CTP PBEM and just starting to learn PBEM from CIVIII involved in early phases of 2 games now CIVIII that is...

I was wondering if anyone else out here needs a player new game or sub

Welcome Grandpa - I'm sure you will get into more games than you can imagine. Just keep an eye on this thread - or propose your own game. There are lots of folks out there, and a number who will gladly set the game up for you if you like.

Tomorrow morning my time, so that is 16 hours from now, my family and I are hitting the road for a journey up the coast

this entails 8 hours driving one way

a week along a great beach

then an 8 hour drive home the following week

through this time I will be here on and off for my turns

the goal is to log on at least once a day and knock them over

it is just that they may be played at irregular hours etc

anyway, should not be a drama... just thought I would let you know

well I was planning on some sleep

try out a few new pubs

take the little ones out on the boat

run a muk on the beach

may even do some work at the pub

so this could mean missing out on civ a bit

thought that would mean an absence
