Ill be in Italy from 2 Oct to 25 Oct.

I will have minimal internet access during that time.

But I should be able to keep up with my PBEM's albeit at a slower pace.

If I start having problems GodKing said he would sub for me.

I have a few turns to catch up on which I shall do on the plane and as soon as I get access Ill get them to you but they maybe posted in the thread as opposed to being emailed.

I spoke to Paddy tonight. He's been in the Gold Coast - Surfers' Paradise! And then wine country.....Hunter Valley (utter crap compared to what we have here in th e west ).

But the good news is, he's back tomorrow!!!

Hunter Valley is just north of Sydney. Barossa valley is outside Adelaide in South Australia. But for real wine, go to Margaret River, south of Perth

afternoon all

thank you for your patience with my being awol

the plans of mice and men

I had everything organised, laptop packed, saves loaded, email addresses sorted, discs - the whole shabang

then when we got to where we were staying the comms were blown out and the tech does not get there till this friday - 9 working days or some such rot

well the saves must flow - and well umm I do have a few in my inbox

so hope you all smile my way again some time

please note that Brave New World has had a slow start and there is plenty of scope to develop in this game

while the Crusades game has been going for a while. this is a great game and I hope you do join

Yes, I think you'd enjoy those two. Brave New World was starting to pick up. I have a pretty good start so I think you'll do fine.
And most of the bad guys are far away in Crusades so you won't have to worry for a while.

I played civ alot since civ1, and would say Im fairly expirienced... PBEM I didnt play really much (played a lot direct ip games though, and won about half), but Im getting into it...
