Suffering from ads?

I helped save Doom. There are only three games that are comparable to Civ2, and Doom is one of them. I also would defend SMAC and Half-Life to the death.

A signficant problem with FPS is the lack of the field of vision. A normal human has a 170° field of vision because we have peripheral vision. In a FPS you have what, a 30° field? Certainly no wider than 50°.
