Sometimes one exception proves the rule. However I don't know if it is true that minorities are over-represented in the armed forces. I think that is kind of getting off course. The real question is if the poor are over-represented in the armed forces -specifically frontline combat duty.
For instance in the latest pay-adjustments the airforce personel were given a 7 percent payrise, while the Army personel was given only a 1.8 percent payrise.
