Sorry Actually i am dropping other games, too, and 2-a-day comes to its ending. But i managed to get a reliable and fast replacement Krill who has proven himself trustworthy in 2-a-day PBEM.

I sent the latest save to him with all the details. I edited the First Post of this thread to include his mail info.

It was fun, youre right on that, but i'm sure Krill will not fail you guys

Bug

I've taken the liberty to play twice -- same thing.

The turn proceeds normally until the end. I get a trade advisor screen then telling me that a silk deal (Arab) has been lost. It should not be lost, IMO.

Then the game blows up. No way to save the turn.

I've seen events like this before. It's bad.

I've had similar bugs in 2 PBEM games, both back in PtW tho.

One way to try fixing the bug : by declaring war on the civ that caused the trouble. In this case, you should declare war to Arabia before ending the turn.

If you are unable to declare war to Arabia, or it does not help, then ADG plays his turn again, and before ending his turn, he declares war on you.

Be at war unitl the game has circulated back to the person who declared war, and then propose peace again. This fixed the trade bug in PtW. Dont know if it helps in C3C, havent experienced it since PtW times.

If jshelr is unable to declare, or it wont help. Rommel might have the 190 AD file in store to resend to ADG.

If not, no worries, i have all the saves back to 10 AD

The game doesnt like me leaving and is protesting, obiviously

The fix worked. Thanks, Conq.

However, it cost the poor Portugese 23 gold per turn and blew away all our deals. Hopefully, I won't have too many cities in anarchy next turn.

I've asked ADG to do what he can to restore the game to where it was. We will just have to deal with the ambiguity that this mess creates as well as we are able.

Rommel, now i understand your concern about me leaving this game after browsing trough the other Tournament threads. (hey i still have free time this week, nothing better to do ) Looks like theyre all dead, except game 4, which has had some problems, too

Might be, that whoever wins this Game 1, wins the Tournament Atleast looks very grim for games 2, 3 and 5 People that left those games seem not to know that its not very polite to leave a PBEM game without searching for replacement/successor first

ADG, you need to kick those guys behind a bit
