Seriously though, I think we need some debate before we can really decide this. As it is we should look at this poll as a fact-finder rather than anything that ties us down. I'd suggest no-one further votes until we have actually talked about the options and broadly decided where we all stand regarding this. There are quite a number of things to take into consideration here before deciding on such important game settings.

Ok, here's the debate in short.

World size :
Spartans want it small, Morgans want it huge, Gaians and Angels want it medium.

Water :
Spartans want none, Morgan wants loads, Gaians and Angels want it medium.

Erosion :
Morgan wants it flat (boreholes) and the others want is mountainous or rolling.

Rainfall :
Simple preference - makes little difference.

Amount of Fungus/Worms :
Gaians want abundant, everyone else wants none.

So debate over. What else is there to say? Let's vote.

Ever tried playing on a flat and arid map?
Anyway, personally I think Rainy would be best for the Spartans and Angels, as the more rain, the more easily they can popboom.
Arid would probably be best for the Gaians and Morganites. For the Gaians because they can still get 2 nuts from the fungus (and thus can still popboom) unlike the rest, and for the Morganites because they can only build small bases anyway without hab complexes, and have difficulty popbooming (and thus need less nutrients).
