isn't the game already set for coalition victory?
let's help each other on research. sounds good?
whoevers got the most beakers, go for the most expensive branch, and so on.
we should also do the same with military and I propose we determine 3 general areas for military activity. either for defense or in offense.
1- clear any japanese presence from borneo/singapore and the south china sea
2- capture saigon, or at the very least take out the oil there
3- capture Palau

no restarts plz. civs get into blunders, and this is what happened.
and i understand, I'll just work on producing units. I figure I could act as a place for japan to send units at, while you guys kick its rear.
as for 1), right theres no units "yet", although if indochina is a main goal, I think japan will come, probably for the oil. best to be ready? 1) is more like a defensive strategic goal
3) the USA should get this island ASAP
i think it's a sound plan, although i'd love to read you're ideas too.

should we add some battle reports / general info to our turns? I think we should.. for anything, just to remember what we're doing
redboy, did you get a chance to nail any jap ships, or are the carriers already heading back?
as for myself, the chinese don't seem to be in that much trouble, yet! silks gifted to everyone, and coal to netherlands. I'll have another source of iron to give soon.
my main northern force is poised to hit kaifeng hard with artillery and air support, and I have a smaller regiment set to cut off nanking from the supply route. to the south, my Flying Tigers destroyed a road on rubber, leaving only a RR tile that links indochina to the rest of Japan.
otherwise, I'm fortifying the best I can in south china
could it be possible to get some gifts of technology and money?
China needs it

Friends Allies!!
We are at war, and facing a truly deadly foe. We in the Commonwealth have switched our research to Advanced flight, as we feel the long range bombers will be of great use in the battles ahead.
quite a task to switch production this turn, making sure we have plenty of barracks towns to churn out veteran reinforcements, so to a programme of Airports is being built in the mainland of Australia.
Be aware our Brothers in the Netherlands, Jap has Marines already, and can and will launch amphibious attacks on your island colonies!! You know our feelings on disolving your government at this stage, and we would expect to see your holdings come under fire by air sea and even land! Good luck Sir you will need it, only this month Jap has landed a force of 3 paratroopers outside one of our towns, threatening to cut off singapore. We have sent you a supply of Iron.
China we commend you and pray for your people in the coming struggle, we witnessed the Jap attack and destroy one of your Guerilla units operating in commonwealth territory, though you will be proud to know they wasted one Infantry unit in their efforts. Only killing your brave troops with a tank assault on their dug in positions. Your boys held fast and died with honour. We will pass any research we get imediately to your people, though we too have had to turn down our tech spending a little to help get our economy on track.
We managed to seek and destroy a Jap sub lurking off the Singapore coast and our brave Airmen destroyed the oil fields near Saigon. For now Jap has no oil, and will likely be seeking to invade where this resource can be found. It is imperative that we are successful in denying access to oil from Jap at all costs!
America, welcome to the war, please pass on our deepest condolences to the families of all your personal killed or injured in the attack on Pearl Harbour. Be assured that the Commonwealth will fight shoulder to Shoulder with you to defeat this common foe. If America can share in any way its vast wealth with us we would be able to put those resources to good use, namely gold.
Here ends our report, God bless and protect you all in the month ahead.

Actually as of the end of this turn all but one Jap Carrier, one Cruiser, and a destroyer, is sunk. I lost too many capital ships doing it, but at least we'll never see them again. Still waiting for amphibius warfair to start cranking out marines to help you blokes out. My plan is simple- Island hop all the way to japan. I am trying to hold the last island I have in the south pacific, but I dont think I can do it. At least for long the japs have landed a small force, but the naval task force destroyed the transport and escorts. Good luck to you all and may god be with us.
President Redboy
PS Sorry about the lateness of the turn, I worked really late today.

and about the gold, I am afraid I splurged my savings on an airport on midway to bring up reinforcements for the island hoping. I will halp out as much as I can, but I fear most must goto China as they are going to be bearing the brunt of the Japanese agression. Technology will be shared freely with my nations valiant allies as well as any resorces I have to give.
Thankyou
and have a fair goodnight

first attack on kaifeng went by great. destroyed the newest conscripted defense units, the veteran ones and got the japanese army (of one tank) down to 1 hp. nanking on the other hand I only managed to pillage and damage units, at the cost of a conscript infantry
more units have made it to the south front, and i'm fortifying mainly near the hanoi area. I've also have 2 infantry and 1 guerilla on their way to pillage indochina
also coming up in february 1942, two new bombers and 4 fresh veteran MG battlions.

Dear Allies:
The Commonwealth saw much varied action this month, our pilots have been slugging it out with with Jap in the skies over the sea in the Saigon/Singapore theatre.
Well we managed to shoot down three Zero's we took heavy losses also, namely 1 Bomber wing and three fighter squadrons. These losses will be a long time being replaced, as our focus at this time is the rush building of Airports and the reinforcing of our far flung colonies with veteran trained Anzac units.
On land we had mixed results too, we killed outright a Jap paratroop regiment that had survived in the hills during the last month, but lost one green anzac unit to a redline Jap Nippon inf brigade. We did however destroy said Jap unit with a second Infantry charge with fresh troops flown into Singapore last month. Again though the wily Japs countered at the end of the month and took out the victorious troops!
In a further move High command ordered the 6th & 9th Artillery batteries to move behind enemy lines, and dig in on hill 48 NNW of Bangkok, with the intent of shelling the Jap held stronghold and the surrounding infrastructure next month. We also sent in 2 Vet Anzac brigades and a MG Battallion from the Rangoon Garrison to form a defensive screen around the emplaced guns.
Our Naval elements faired much better, though with some help with the survivng air units at Singapore. You may remember we reported the position of three Jap naval units last month, well to our surprise Jap stayed put leaving these already damaged vessels at our mercy.
As stated some of our flyboys got through and made hits on these Jap boats, leaving their DD Hayashio listing heavily to Portside, an irresistable target for our BB Prince of Wales, whose guns made short work of sending her to the bottom, then with an outstading sweeping manouvre the DD Tenedos rammed and punctured a massive hole in the side of the Jap BB Kongo, who went down like a stone in seconds. Needless to say our DD was badly damaged in this action and will need time in drydock before seeing further action, but her commander Captain Staines has been recomended to the Admiralty for promotion.
Further naval action saw our submariners getting in on the action, after BB Repulse blasted the Jap transport, with a full spread the SS Storm went in for the kill. Needless to say her torpedoes swam true and the transport went down fast. And finally our DD Encounter made a dash to Kudat and succesfully sunk a further Jap transport.
I would imagine several high ranking Jap Naval officers will be expected to fall on their swords after this fiasco
Commonwealth out!

Greetings allies, friends,
The Japanese Fleet that cowardly attacked Pearl Harbour.... has been destroyed. All remaining elements have been sunk in the battle of midway with light losses to several Wildcat Squadrons. Massive reinforcements have been airlifed to our remaining cities in Asia with the hopes of retaking lost land and attacking Japan Directly.
Good Luck and God Speed
President Redboy
PS Amphibious Assault for all next turn
