Skanky burns cheers the contestants encouragingly as he is dragged away to aid with the search for the missing contestants, but the rest of the crowd looks unconvinced. The Doctor doesn't help the situation by stopping to shout insults at the commentator.
The gladiators approach once more, and this time Theben looks more serious.
Theben swings on the right, but the Doctor's rapier deftly sends the blow off course.
Theben swings again, producing an exact mirror image of the previous blow, but this time on the left. The Doctor is clearly expecting this, and deflects again, looking almost nonchalant as he puts rather less effort into his defence.
Theben swings for a third time, harder but with no more finesse, and the Doctor's swords frustrates him yet again.
Both took no damage, and remain on 120HP.
Bring on round 3.
Of course, patient or not, I can't seem to resist posting the results as soon as possible .

"Ah, there's Skanky now, it looks like he's got the other one."
"Excellent, and now we can see if these guys are any more exciting..."
Later, while the Doctor and Theben are taking a break, the newly discovered competitors are bundled into the ring, Chaunk complaining that he had had important things to be do, but being completely ignored.
"I'd like to thank Skanky Burns for locating our remaining semi-finalists, and perhaps he'd like to introduce them."
"Of course, but I'm sure we all agree that Jamski-San needs no introduction. Despite his distant origins he is a household name for those who attend the Gladitorial contests. Jamski-San has the best record in the contest so far, and also defeated Chaunk on the one occasion that they faced one another, so he's a strong favorite for victory here.
"Chaunk, on the other hand, is a newcomer, and though, as I recently discovered, he can't hold his drink, he can hold his own in a fight, and he certainly shouldn't be ruled out."
The two semi-finalists approach one another in the arena and circle defensively for a while.
Eventually Jamski-San lunges in for an attack, but Chaunk's defense is firm, and Jamski-San comes closer to hurting himself than his opponent.
One of the arena thugs notes Theben trying to leave, but bars his way "Sorry, but the boss says we're not taking any chances after all these problems. No gladiators to leave the arena before their combat is concluded."
Both gladiators took no damage, and remain on 120HP.
Send orders for round 2 quick if you want to catch up
Am I suffering from deja vu, or was that just the same as the first round in the other semi?
