I concur. However, flaming doesn't do any good. This is why we have these threads. It's about a right to chose, as Tia puts it, or what civil liberty is.

We debate homosexuality a lot, because it transcends all issues of discrimination while we can ignore other facets; race, religion, nationality, social class, etc...

It is a good debate, and if you [Capt. Dizle] continue to be such a flammer about this than please try to ignore the thread instead of giving straight, white, christian men a bad name.

See, you've got your cable and Roots reruns. Gay life/issues are something you encounter...once a day? Twice a day? Flicking through the metaphorical channels and stumbling across it. The idea of "gay infestation" sorta reminds me of that episode of M*A*S*H where Hawkeye and Trapper paint that bigot brown, claiming that he got an infusion of the "wrong colored blood."

My thread isn't the one.....you will find this Dragon to be very gay friendly. And I am white anglo saxon etc....and I live in Redneckville, however, I believe very strongly in each persons rights to make free will choices and I do expect that other people especially school officials not to interfer with that right.

Oh and on your hispanic note ( no offense to any hispanics intended) They are raising a stink as a matter of fact they are now stating that the phrase Illiegal Imagrant is offensive to the very nature of their being and that they are now going to be in the process of lobbying to get a law passed to make the phrase more politcally correct to II. I forgot the mans name but he is the head of the Hispanic Colaition for something or other.....heard this on the radio the other day anyway he says the term Illegal Imagrant is offensive, degrading etc. So yeah, your point would be as they say OUTTTTA HERE!

The idea of "gay infestation" is a disgrace. We do have threads regarding gay issues (such as this one), and I'd assume it is normal for people to speak about gay issues in such threads.

In other threads, I don't remind having seen systematic threadjacking from our gay posters. And unless you think the sexual orientation of someone has any impact on their opinion on Iraq, food regulations, or PC vs Mac, then I think the idea of "gay infestation" is preposterous, if not vomitive.

If Asher, a gay, posts in a Mac vs PC thread, is he guilty of waging a "gay infestation"?
