i understand this. this sounds similar to what my prom was, except both my gf and i decided we didn't want to fork over that much money for something neither of us were that interested in in the first place.
proms are stupid, plain and simple--a horrid waste of money by people who don't know what to do with it.
going back to the original topic, on the other hand, about no same-sex ticket purchases... stupid. although it might be a private function, i'm amazed that they thought it was necessary to stipulate such a rule.
and roots was a good miniseries, so don't trash it.
as far as illegal immigrants: maybe, if they immigrated legally, they wouldn't be called ****ing illegal immigrants. they're called that for a simple reason: they are immigrants that did not follow the legal pathways for legal immigration.

Your complaint is duly noted and has been given all appropriate treatment. I don't recall anything in the rules that says you have to like or approve of every thread topic. However, if you keep running your mouth, I do have an option for curing that.

So am I, except a big portion of my ancestry is also Kraut. And we're southern, and some of the collateral relations used to own a few slaves. And I have yet to see white males ever substantially "stressed" or harassed or impaired over much of anything.
