One thing that used to confuse me was that are "known" people in Tomb of the "Unknown".

You can spare me the lecture, and you can spare me the 'Indignant Internet bully' behavior as well. My response was to the claim, that I, for some reason, can't have an honest debate about the need in such measures, without dishonoring those soldiers who died in battle, to the claim that I am somehow dishonourable, myself. |
I'm not talking about one post, bub. I'm talking about the whole pile of **** you and some other ***** have dumped in the whole thread. You were just handy.
As for why unnamed... just to let a mental midget like you in on the secret, it is not because they don't know the names, it is because there is not enough left to hang a name on some of the remains. It might just be a cultural thing, but most people around here like to know just who it is that is getting buried. The fact that these are unidentifiable is generally taken as a powerful reminder not only of their sacrifice, but of just what 'modern' war does to human beings. Maybe that answers one of your other moronic posts.
