Imran you disrespectful ****:
quote:
That's where they grow 'em
|
NYE:
quote:
Then why do you do it? Complete with smilies.
Did you not gain a clue from an American questioning your tact in this thread? Or did you think that nobody would notice what a **** you amount to? |
Are loinburger, and Imran direspectful, as well?
quote: But that isn't what you went after. No. You went after the tomb and the men who patrol it. In short, you deserve whatever pooh is flung at you. Maybe not by me for much longer, but whatever. |
I didn't went for the tomb, *******. neither I went for the soldiers it honors. I didn't even attack the soldiers themselves, it's their choice, I just questioned the ritual that they follow. Time to climb off.
Sikander:
quote:
So that's what you guys are doing when you sit around in a circle and chant: His name was Robert Paulson. |
That's not what we do. There is a ceremony once a year, commemorating the fallen. And now, we don't sit around in a circle, and chant ( and this IS ridiculing ) Names of the fallen are called in schools, workplaces, and universities.
Sprayber:
quote:
The question is who are you to question their sense of duty? You get so indignant about people questioning your understanding of honor that you forgot that you did the very same thing. If you can question the soldiers of the old guard then surely your not above NYE questioning yours... |
I am not getting indignant about people questioning my honour. I resented the descent to namecalling in the discussion. I never questioned the sense of duty of the individual soldiers. I wondered about the instituion/ceremony itself.
quote:
Azazel brought that up first. If he couldnt take the IDF being questioned then he should have never brought it up. You can't ridicule one way, bring up your own example of how its supposed to be and expect the other party not to respond...
| Where did I attack the 'unnamed soldiers' tomb' institution? please, just show me. I just wanted to share that in Israel, it's done differently.
