Bank of Progress Building, Roshem, Free Azan
Inside the gutted bank that served as Azani field headquarters, reports were coming in from across Roshem: the Karakasans had pushed to within blocks of the FCL HQ in the south, the Roshem militia, with the help of ALA fighters and Nooslander special forces, had secured the downtown docks, and the ring of Azani forces in the north continued to tighten on the Frankchanlandian garrison. In all, only about 20 square blocks of Roshem was not under allied control, as the FCL forces continued their measured, disciplined retreat in the heavy fighting.
In the past few hours, however, fighting across the city had begun to bog down. Commandante Gluckstein and his fellow officers were debating just how to break the deadlock.
"Moshe, how many of your people can you spare?"
"We're spread pretty thin already, Commandante," answered the militia leader, "but if we take some of Bazovsky's brigade off the North Bridge, we can probably scrape together 6 or 7 companies."
"It'll have to do. We've got fresh partisans from up-valley, and if we shift..."
"Sir?" a young radioman interrupted the commandante by handing him a slip of paper. The rebel leader read it slowly, then looked up at his comrades and smiled.
"It's a message from the Karakasans," he said, pausing for effect, "the Frankychanlandian Colonel wishes to surrender."

The map has been updated to reflect the recent attacks. Note the change in the Tel Azan/Hofesh front: the Auldoninna advance has been blunted in response to the Hive attack.
edit: added Centralis' landing
edit 2: just for clarification... the (fairly) standard colouring scheme is red=azan, orange=fcl, green=hive, yellow=auldoninna, purple=ceroo, pink=guardinia, navy=centralis, pale blue=noosland, grey=jonchastan, off-white=al mastif (the colours for some nations have been different on some maps, and some nations not included here have had other colours, but I'm trying to standardize them...)
edit 3: Tel Azan/Hofesh front adjusted for Rasputin

Noosphere, Noosland
The telephone on Chairperson Thom's desk rang. She took a look at it.
"Yes, Comrade Ma," she picked up the phone.
"Comrade, initial analysis of intercepted messages indicated Frankychanland cities were attacked by chemical weapons."
Her brows frowned, "Keep a tap on it. Oh, inform Central Command."
"Yes Chairperson."
Prvisional Command, Roshem Airport
"General," an aide rushed into the control room.
"What is it?" said Vijinee.
"Sir, Theater Command informed us that there are suspected cases of chemical attacks on FCL cities."
"One of us?"
"No information, sir."
"Lets get ready for possible chemical or biological strikes."
"Yes sir."

Roshem
Ivo's job was to hold something the Karakan army called an "Ensign of Truce", displayed when delivering messages to enemy commanders. At least the shooting had dropped off, because it was attached to a pole about seven feet long which would have made him a wonderful target.
His friend's job was to ask the Frankychanland colonel to meet with Commandante Gluckstein, which he did with the aid of a megaphone. In the bombed-out streets of Roshem, it echoed like the summer thunder over Kyralia.

Adailton
Galway Bay's port facility was closed. It was never closed. The last time had been in 1965, when Kyralian artillery units hid themselves in the hills to the north. The Metropolitan Port was open, but the Army had commandeered Galway Bay for the day.
It was a monumental operation to get 25,000 troops into the industrial suburb. Galway Bay's traffic situation was not pleasant on the best of days. The roads were barely designed for eighteen-wheelers, let alone armored personnel carriers. And with access roads blocked by the Civil Defense Militia, and the troops finding their way all the way across town from the army base, traffic was backed up halfway to the Marine Castle.
But a large number of citizens had turned out anyway. The great transport ships were to be escorted by missile destroyers, the Pristina, the Roberto Carlos, and the locals' clear favorite, the Adailton. The sight of the Karakan navy's power vessels filled the citizens with awe.
Edited for clarity

Provisional Command, Roshem Regional Airport
In the hasily converted command room, General Vijinee conducted a meeting with his top commanders.
"Comrades, Theater Command has informed us that Frankychanland had rejected the Jonchastan peace initiative, and we have the green light for the next phase."
Colonel Downing spoke, "I have completely transferred the defense duties of the International Sanctuary around New Aurora to General Yoon of Jonchastan."
Vijinee nodded, "Yes, there is less need for defending the city now that we are on the offensive. I think 3rd Light can take over defense of Roshem?"
Colonel Grey said, "Perhaps it is better for the Azani militia forces to hold the city, now that it's completely under control. After all, our forces are more suitable for counterattacks and meeting engagements."
General Vijinee said, "Perhaps so. How many men is under Commandante Gluckstein?"
Colonel Grey said, "About a full division, give or take."
General Vijinee said, "Very well then. We can prepare for Operation Thunderstrike."

ooc: quote: his armoured division wqas attacked by my bombers whilst his forces were bombing my floagship, that was all posted, and after decimating his armoured division the Fee Azan and myself pushed onto outrskirts of Hoshem,, he cant have it both wats joncha, he was busy with my flagship we attacked his column of tanks we wiped them out. |
thats bo**cks. Exactly where did all those extra bombers come from ? we agreed 500 would be a good estimate at what you could have on the ships, they would have been largely decimated engaging my airforce. You would not have had enough left to wipe out a couple thousand tanks so easily.

yes my increased knowledge of chemicals will allow me to not drop out of the sky if you put me in a jet.

"Launch the nukes."
Chairman enjoys 5mins of victory. MAD kicks in (no Ras, as i saw you post somewhere else, nukes cannot destroy nukes before they're launched) world ends.
ooc: i never entered this war, i sat on my island the whole time and those troops you saw were what Frankychan purchased. If nukes are banned then replace with several dozen equally worse biological weapons for that added spice....actually chuck them in with the nukes.
