Command Bunker
General Frankychan paced around the map of the FCL/Azan theater. His forces around Neve Al were surrounded, Hive troops were withrdrawing back into his borders, Coalition forces as well as Auldonina troops were getting their revenge on Frankychanland holdings. The Auldoninan threat was especially fierce. General Frankychan smirked.
They were obviously seeking revenge for the Hive/FCL doublecross of Auldonina holdings in Azan. The General had to admit, the Auldoninans were especially vicious in their tactics.
An aide interrupted his musings...
"General sir, we have news from Roshem..." The aide shifted nervously.
The General nodded and grabbed the report.
Apparently, his divisional commander surrendered and all FCL forces were prisoners of the Coalition. General Frankychan rubbed his eyes....but it didn't really disturb him.
"We've lost Roshem. I want all our forces in After to reinforce our men in Tal Zach. They are to reinforce Major General Momotaro there."
General Frankychan sighed.
I can still win this war.

Neve Al
Private Koa ran through the streets in a hurry. The sweat ran down his back and soaked his shirt. His squad leader told him and the rest of his squad that Noosland soldiers were surrounding the city and landing troops on the beach. His anti-tank bazooka was feeling heavy as he ran to their new positions.
Reports were coming in that the defensive forces left to guard the beaches were being rolled over by Noosland soldiers and armor.
"KOA! GET YOUR A** INTO POSITION, WE NEED THAT SET UP NOW!"
His squad leader shouted at him from the building he was running to. Off in the distance, he heard the rumblings of a tank...

Koa got into position and stared down the long tube of his bazooka. His squad was on the second floor of a bombed out building, overlooking an intersection. Koa could see another FCL squad positioned in the building directly across from him.
His squad leader ran up behind him and patted him on his helmet.
"We got visual," his squad leader spoke in a whispered tone. "3 tanks, 2 APC's, and some grunts flanking them. Take out the lead tank. The guys in the other building are gonna take out the rear. Hopefully we can trap 'em in the crossfire." His squad leader ran off to get a better position.
Private Koa waited until the armored column passed underneath him and squinted at his target. The poor grunts below walking on the street were too busy looking on the street level to even know there were guys right above them.
"FIRE!!!!" His squad leader shouted.
Koa immediately fired his bazooka and watched the projectile sail towards the tank. The resulting explosion blew the Noosland soldiers clear from the tank, dead and injured. He watched as the other squad launched their bazooka and took out the rear tank.
"KILL THEM ALL!!!!" Someone yelled.

Tal Zach
FCL Regional HQ
Major General Momotaro gleamed with satisfaction. He just received news that he was to get 3 more infantry divisions as well as the forces from After. All the troops under his command reinforced his loyalty and dedication to Frankychanland and to General Frankychan.
"People!," Momotaro addressed his staff, "We have been given a renewed sense of existence from our great leader. He has sent fresh reinforcements and supplies. This is a clear indication of his confidence of our abilities."
The staff officers assembled grinned with satisfaction.
"With all the assembled forces under our command, Coalition forces will never be able to break our wall of steel we have assembed here in T.Z. Now, make sure everything is ready for the attack that is sure to come. Let's give the enemy the Armaggedon they deserve!"
The cheers that greeted his ears were like music. The renewed sense of vigor was a much needed shot of great news.
Things were finally going his way.

"Major Donaldson here, the boys have arrived on the Highway. no resistance as of yet. Heading West now to engage the enemy in Hofesh."
"Roger that Major, you have your orders, please follow them"
"Roger HQ. but I not sure my boys going to like going easy on them, they want revenge."
"Major just follow orders"

Corporal Smith handed the ration tin to his friend Private Jones, they shared everything since ariving in this country some 8 months ago. They had come as young recruits fresh out of college, neither having left the shores of Auldonina before. Now they were battle hardened troops ready to die for their country.
The last few days though had been the roughest of their tour of duty, the FCL were ferocious street fighters, using the local populace as shields , with their tanks jammed into the shells of old buildings . Each street taken was at a cost to both sides, but last night they had finally cleared the town south of the river. Now they were awaiting the next days incursions, to cross the river by barge, it would be extremely dangerous, but it had to be done. Hopefully the boys from the other brigades coming fro mthe East and west would keep the FCL busy enough to allow them to cross. But their were no guarnatees and the two of them knew this.
They could hear the Auldonina Artillery firing over the river into known FCL positions and each day the Helicopters went searching for more FCL armour.
They both lit up a cigarette and finsihed writing to home in silence. This may be their last chance to do that.

The lead tank drew to a halt as they approached the Encampment of Ceroo. They had drivne hard and fast along the highway all day, small sporadic fire fights had occured but none to realyl get excited about. The rest of the coumn ground to a halt and took up positions. The Commander of the Battalion dismebarked from his Tank and headed straight to the Ceroo HQ tent. He was seen entering and the crews knew that tomorrow would be busier than today. They would be crossing into FCL territory. But tonight they were to relax and unwind a little. As much as you could while in close proximity to the enemy.
