If you take a look at your first attempt at a table above, you'll see that there's a gap between your text and the table. It's caused by the hard returns and spaces in your table code.
If you use the [code]-tag, you can maintain the hard returns/spaces without that gap appearing.

As for the second question, you can just quote my message and copy the code there...

Oh and yes, Imran- we're playing 3rd Edition, not 2nd Edition like Baldur's Gate. 3rd Edition allows for more flexibilitiy. I think you can play a druid with any alignment

Everyone's votes will be made in the open or everyone's votes will be made in private. By the look of the poll, voting by PM will remain.

It's mostly for roleplaying... but I might allow you to petition a god or two for guidance ONCE per game (secret hint)

and I've been toying with the idea of allowing the paladin player to PM me one round and ask his 'god' to make him immune to people's ill will for only one round in the entire game- (in which case all votes for him are zeroed and he is 'immune' to being voted off) but I don't know if this is too powerful

(Then again, Assassins is a test game for Mafia...)

Actually, I was thinking about experimenting a little with this game- allowing paladin votes to be out in the open and everyone else by PM...

I asmit the other ideas listed in my post above might be unbalancing, but I think that the basic paladin idea could be fun

what does everyone else think?

Hmm... I think that I'll allow the Paladin petition the gods for guidance for one round, but not the immunity- remember paladins, you have to PM me to get the ability activated.

(and the petition for guidance will result in myself voting for the correct assassin for your character- however your character will have no idea who I voted for)

Paladins should be interesting... on one hand, no one will suspect them. On the other, the mafia will probably want them out of the way first.

I like the idea of good and bad sides for Paladins. Have them say their votes in public, but allow them one secret hint in the game. Fun balance.

What about the other limited classes? Are they restricted or benefited in any way?
