Got spare money?

FYI, I asked Locutus to post a news item for the succession game, so don't be surprised if more people will join.

No, I don't want to slow the game down, but I only have limited access to the web on the weekend, so most possible my post will be monday morning. (Unless Tamerlin and HuangShang will both finish before Thursday afternoon )

You'll be fine whatever happens, 3 day rule for everyone and its not really a definite rule, its just for people who give no reason for being slow and we dont know when to expect them back.

But I just checked, Locutus, still hasn't posted the news :doitnow:

The Sage of Delineation has compiled the knowledge aquired from our scouts and from our diplomatic efforts to create this map of the known world.

The red dots represent the probable Capitol of each country while the white ones represent other cities. The gray dots represent the likely location of other hidden cities based on the borders.

Put an end to popups!

I would like to note that the city Larissa is in a very precarious position between three other civilizations. Perhaps we should consider disbanding and moving elsewere?

Inflate your Upload Space

yeah i was thinking that too
the capitol distance, poor military position and being right next to a mountain all seem very bad

now that i've thought it through, i'd say the roaming nomad just east of the main domain should head NW instead
and then, the disbanded Larissa can settle in the eastern fringes where you have all those hills for high production

I also think we should decide whether we are are going to be offensive early on or take an expansionistic/defensive policy. We have a lot of good land for which we can build cities. On the other hand we have three civs right next to us who will no doubt want our blood later on, if not now.

The sooner we go on the offensive the better, because we will be on the defensive anyway as soon as the other civs get their act together.

Gilgamensch! Maquiladora! are we keeping Larissa or disbanding it??

when we have a large army, we can push to attack, but the barb threat has already murder my stacks of warrior plus spear so i'd wait till there are at least six slingers to spare
i go for an attack on Carthage ASAP, Bazatine still likes us and Greece of too power and far away

Sorry gents............

don't kill me

wanted to play yesterday night, took my laptop with me, had CTP2 with craddle installed, but I forgotten to download the savegame

I'll try to play tonight to post it tomorrow morning.

By the way, as I am using the German version of CTP2, do I have to do /reloadslic?

For the disbanding: So long we can prevent it with minor means, I would say, let's keep it.

Does anyone know ( Hex... ) the huge bounuses that the AI gets on impossible? Its good to know what we are up against.

Actually I'm more worried about the Barbarian threat than the other AI's. There will be a heck of alot of them on mauraders I suspect.
