Chapter Two
"Gentlemen, it appears we have a tie. Both the CTO, Mr. Burns, and our consultant from Europe, Ljube-ljcvetko, stand at six votes", DarkCloud informed the prisoners of the Apolyton corporate headquarters.
"We should have a new round with only Skanky and Lju... Ljuen... LL to choose from", Theben suggested. "It would be fair and equal for everyone."
"That'll take too long at this rate. I say we flip a coin and be done with it", Ljube-ljcvetko said, apparently trusting his luck.
"Fine", said Skanky, and called tails.
Tails it was, and Ljube-ljcvetko was grabbed by the security guards and taken to the highest storey.
"Give us the passcode or you will die", the guards insisted.
"I don't know the code! I beg you! Please don't kill me!"
This went on for a few minutes, after that they just got tired of him and threw him through the window to a screaming death.
DrSpike protested. "Bodies as red pulp on the sidewalk, that won't look good once the media gets a hint of this. The last time the storm lasted for a week. Bad for business." Chief of PR, Mister Siddiqui nodded thoughtfully.
"We've killed the murderer but we still lack the code. And no one will be missing us for quite a while", gjramsey wondered. "Nobody in or out for days should raise some red flags."
"I haven't been away from Poly for more than twelve hours at a time. Someone will notice and call the authorities", Method said.
"Besides, the lock will release itself automatically after a few days", Duke o' york consoled them. "We can live off the candy bar and soda machines and sleep on the sofas." The geeks were more than happy, it'd be no different from a little LAN party at a friend's place.
Some took a nap, some indulged themselves in a heap of Hershey bars. After a few cokes Adagio decided to go relieve himself in the closest restroom. He was about to relieve himself most inconveniently when he saw the murder scene inside.
DrSpike lay in the corner of the big toilet. The sterilised-looking, nearly hospital-like pale green walls around him were covered in splashes of blood as his stapled corpse sat there, still grinning in pain, pencils sticking out from his ears making him look like a gruesome halloween monster.
Unlike with President Kassiopeia, however, his throat had also been slashed wide open with an instrument that was nowhere to be found.

Once again, the color green is featured prominently at the scene of the crime.
I suspect Spaced Cowboy and rah for that reason, green being a featured color in their avatars. However, the green could also be a reference to money, which would implicate... well, all of us. But Kalius, our Chief Financial Officer, more than the others. (Theben and Jonny, our accountants, should also be watched.)
