Actually I am not against us participating in general game discussions myself. I really believe that it is to the benefit for all people, since people are here to learn. As long as we don't say things like "You should move this CP to here" or "the scout to here" or "reseach this" etc., I don't see why it isn't a good thing for us to contribute in general game discussions. However if Drogue forbid us to do even that, then I'll try to abid him as best as I can.

Don't be upset because I'm giving you a hard time.

Sorry, I didn't mean to scold you. I thought the matter was over, and then you're explanation seemed to be putting it up there again. IMHO, the best thing to do when people think it's something more, is ignore it. Asking was the right thing, you didn't do anything wrong at all, though it would possibly be better by PM. I edited your post because you were trying to explain that you didn't mean anything, and in doing so, make people wonder what the mistake they made was. IMHO, it was far better just leaving them with any conspiracy theories they have.

I did not mean to scold you, I just didn't want them to keep discussing it, as if it was something big, which the apology seemed to make it. It wasn't the act, or the apology I thought was bad, it was the explanation, when it was over.

Please do not be offended, no offense or scolding was intended whatsoever, I just wanted to stop them thinking it was something. Obs is just getting annoyed at the moment, due to stress I'd imagine.

Hey I just got an idea. Well actually I've thought about it for a long time.

Can we open a SMAC/X university, like what they have for Civ3? Kody can give classes that are appropriate with the game current status. For example, right now we can have a class about early techs, how would trading before first tech increase your tech cost and how should one avoid getting techs that is off beeline etc.

I don't think it's nessacary since we're all pretty fast with our refresh rate on these private forums.

What is there really to discuss, we don't play any turns so there's very few minor details we can discuss.
