ooh- missed this thread. Anyway, I applied for Data Angel memberance yesterday, and then disrupted the flow in the 'turn tracking' thread.

I am Civlian Jones, I'm from Oregon, USA, and I've enjoyed playing SMAC and the expansion. While rigel kentaurus is fun, I prefer games I can easily multiplayer with, like Risk and Diplomacy. However now that this is one big crazy mulitplayer... ROCK ON!

now... the data angels aren't on the verge of being destroyed, are they? That'd suck... heh.

But yeah- Data Angels seem cool, though I was sorta split between the Morganites, Gaians, and the Angels. So I looked at the member count- and figured my vote would do the most in the Angels group (with an 18 member count instead of 24 or 25. The exception, of course, is Sparta... because with a name like Civilian Jones I couldn't bring myself to apply to Sparta. Not to mention they're downright barbaric ::P

Well, no you can't look in our private forums. There's this nice big public one, though! Join Gaia! In order to join, click the 'Join' button next to the factions name, and PM the faction leader... Illuminatus for Gaia. The rest, I'm not sure, just ask. I think Mart is Angel, Googlie is Sparta, and no idea for Morgan. Micha?

I suspected that, but still... There's those guys that had their feelings removed. That's kinda closer to the Hive... I guess I'll have to ask both, just how evil they are willing to get.

Do you mean the Cybernetic Consciousness? Those were in the previous game, but not in this ACDG. Now the human factions are Sparta, Angels, Gaians and Morganites.

So of those four I think the Spartans fit your description most. To be repeat something I said a while ago in this thread:
