I don't believe anyone said he was obstructing business at all. He was arguing with the marine recruiter. It is as much an obstruction to business as the marine recruiter telling people to join the military.

Don't apologize. I didn't request it. But thank you anyhow. My brother definitely had a much stronger bond with my grandmother than with anyone else in the extended family. But I wouldn't say they were close.

Some sort of thing should have been worked out between him and the Marines, but this seems more like a spontanious thing. He wasn't intentionally going there to obstruct, only to talk to Marines.

Wasn't trying to. I don't agree with what he did. But I think that what the police officer did was far worse because the police officer is supposed to be the good guy.

Certainly he was trying to get people's attention, but he attempted to do it in a peaceful manner. He didn't go up there are just start insulting the marine corp. In fact, he only talked to people that talked to him first. If people walked away and didn't want to listen to him, he let them.

I wasn't there for all of this, unfortunately. I have what he has told me and I have what my friend has told me about what she saw.

I know that one of the deceptive things they did was to run a contest, the winner of which would get their prize in the mail. This meant that everyone had to give the marines their contact information. And I'm sure you all can figure it out from there. Now, only stupid people would fall for this. But it does mean the marines are targetting stupid people for recruitment.

The ex-marine was at fault. The police should've behaved better and your brother was purposely acting in an antagonistic way towards the Marines (who, by your account, acted properly by calling security when the situation got out of hand), but the real bad guy in this situation was the ex-marine.

I stand corrected.

Mall acted improperly, there were other ways to handle this that would have been better and longer lasting remedies then just beating him up.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention. So at one point my brother and I were yelling at the cop, trying to get him to stop abusing our brother. Security guards got in the way and we started to yell at them. One of the security guards didn't like the fact that I was yelling at her, and decided to take revenge.

She found my boss. Brought him down. He was angry. What are you doing here. Can't believe you used a lame excuse like your grandmother dying. I'm disgusted. That sort of thing. So I might have lost my job because of this.

I hate that I yelled at mall security, though. I hate it when I lose my temper. They did the least wrong.
