I agree, DanQ. Please, can you offer a concrete adress to email UGO? We (the users) should send our flames to them if they don't believe that one single advertiser (ebay) will cause traffic loss to themselves and ALL (future and present) other advertisers.

Previously, only one pop-up window would appear when I came to Apolyton- now a new one appears for every single fucking thread that I look at. What's going on?!

You're bringing your point over to the wrong people though. Complain to ebay. It's what I'm doing.

In fact, I just received an email back from ebay support in which they asked for examples when the ad popped up. I passed along Apolyton's URL. Let's see what they say.

I have long since turned of my java- therby avoiding the worst of these annoying adds. The worst part of the add situation is that I have migranes and the flashing adds hurt my eyes....So I tend to avoid sites with annoying adds.

I must also say I wouldn't care about any non-pop-up banner, unless it's frames change too fast, hurting my eyes, but pop-ups are annoying.

I thought the pop-up was alright until I got an optical mouse (with web browsing features). I'm not sure if the ebay add is what is doing it but my browser crashes when I visit apolyton AFAIK when the popup is there. This is a pain in the ass. Needless to say it will cut down on the time I spend on Apolyton.

The real question here is "WHY IS IT GONE?". Did it just finish it's normal cycle or did it stop due to excessive whining. I would GREATLY appreciate any enlightenment from MorD (Mark or DAN )

iptables -A INPUT -s adserver.ugo.com -j DROP

"The operation timed out when attempting to contact adserver.ugo.com."
