Another update:

Centralis is now our UN Delegate (but New Apolyton apparently doesn't have one yet).

San Antonio Bay (Ceroomaster's other nation) is still in the Rejected Realms and appears not to have been hacked or changed in any way.

Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot I can do at the moment, as I don't have access to Regional Control; thus, I don't really have any more influence on this situation than anyone else. We'll have to add that to the list of things to question Kifatica about.

Incidentally, I see Noosland has become delegate for New Apolyton.

Hmmmm...the situation now is that Kifatica is still in Apolyton but no one is listed as the founder of the region. Centralis, do you have access to regional control now?? I wonder if the mods of Nation States took away Kifatica's control in response to our reports of what happened.

Yes, I do have access to Regional Control, so it would seem that things are more or less back to normal. Does anyone remember what the World Factbook entry was before all of this?

Most of the others will wander back over the next several days. Not everybody checks Nationstates religiously and I'm sure some that did decided to wait until the situation sorted itself out before moving back.

Also, I consider New Apolyton to be the same region as Apolyton, given that it only exists as a gathering spot for us in case of another loser attack.

for those that have multiple nations, that is a great idea.

Perhaps the 20 that moved back to Apolyton are really the only 20 that are wanting to continue playing..

but i agree. lets give it a week and see what happens after that i suggest a complete re draw of the map.

yes as a globe would be best. we role paly our nations here as members of poly only so maya s well draw our map to be our 0wn world.

We really should try to contact everyone and invite them back. With Apolyton region back in existence and full of our (old/regular) NationStates, it will not be clear to people who sign on in the coming days (and who may not be involved in the roleplay) that the region was hijacked.

well I still contest that Kifatica is the offending party that is Ceroo or the one who had controll of his account. If the Map has become an updating issue i could take it over i would just need time to put my proggie on my laptop and could use my time on monday and tuesday to help out. either way i plan to step up and help in this time of need like many of us have already (ie Tess, Jon, Sparky and everyone else).
