3 turn pumps are not possible short of 10 food/turn. That would require 3 cows/wheat/FP wheat. or you could use a worker pump to supply the workers to let a city stay at 1 constant pop level, and still produce 3 turn settlers (theoretically, 2-turn settlers are possible using this method.)

I'm not completely thick. Just unorthodox...
I'm also learning from the REXs from GS and in the ISDG. Reading the old threads is very enjoyable (Voxian war, and Bobian war) from a strategic POV only. the Vox Public announcements were...disgusting, yet effective.

Yes, but jshelr, alex and I play in another PBEM. On some days we regulary get more than 20 turns done...I'm a little annoyed that they are so far a head...
