Yes, I understand: it's no longer fun for you because all you can do is survive.
(By the way: you are allowed to capture your own cities back.)
However, if we suddenly allow conquest of AI cities, I should be able to do it too, which would only exacerbate the power difference between us.
The annoying thing about this game is that I'm doing all my fighting by proxy. I already noted my feeling about this in the "Declaration of Intent" thread (basically: it's boring and somewhat unfair). But this was more or less my strategy from turn 1 (actually, I signed the alliances mostly to have some breathing room to continue REXing).
What do you suggest we do? (I'll keep playing as we have this discussion just to move things along.)

No, the problem is not that it is not fun, it is just that, well, I can't offer significant resistance to make the game challenging for you. Personally, I think that even if I had iron and horses, I would not be able to get back into a decent shape. When you see what my core looks like, you will understand why my score is so low.
but I am willing to not attack any cities, the Babs can live and enroach to within 6 tile of my capital for the rest of the game...(yes, the AI does use combat settlers...)
Unfortunatly, I am not sure, but it seems that I am playing worse than CDG did in the ISDG...

Nah, you're just in a really tough situation. All the AIs against you on Demigod is difficult for anyone.
