Yes, I suppose that is true. I have only lost 1 PBEM out of thedozen i have.

yeah, but you did not lose half your hoplites to archers on defence, your archers lose attacking warriors, and hoplites beat archers and warriors on attack...
I revise the original time 'til death to about 7 turns now...
I think you can see that they have arrived...

literally, I have no chance of placating all 4 opponents at once. I was prepared enough to survive archers, provided nothing statistacally improbable like this came up. You throwing all the civs at me was a good tactic. Persia I could handle, but babylon and Eygpt are to powerful...on emp I would be in with a chance, the extra city in demi is too powerfull to be overcome this early...

The reason I'm asking is that I thought it would take longer for the other civs to get to you. Persia troops I imagine are already in your vincinity, and Babylon I know is your nearest neighbor, but Egypt and Germany are quite far away.
