I still haven't been able to put money on the site yet. I figured it would have gone through today.

Suffering from ads?

Ah. Have you checked out partypoker.com? I think they may have an option that lets you make a deposit without having to verify a microdeposit, but I may be wrong.

Pokerroom took a while on mine, too.

Un-****ing-believable.

I've lost appx $15 on the last two hands, losing on the goddamned river on both hands, with trip Kings (to a flush) and top pair of Aces (to two pair) respectively.

Mother****er! Both hands, the guy who beat me had no business still being in the hand.

They're paying you off most of the time, so bet at them hard if they're on the draw and fold it down if their draw hits.

You've got a huge table around you and 70% of them see the ****ing flop. There's at least one of them betting on hitting his flush on the turn or river, so make him pay for the privilege of seeing cards. As soon as I realised they were always drawing I stopped bleeding money on stupid beats by stupid players and started taking them for everything they had.

Enter the AD-FREE zone

Unless I've got the nut flush draw or an outside straight draw on the flop and only have a single weak bet before me you will never ever ever see me call a bet (addendum: unless I'm slowplaying something massive). I fold or bet. Those 2 options make up 80% of my plays.

Note: this strategy is against shitty online players only. Real players I do things differently and I'm not telling you how.

EDIT:

BTW, I just figured out that I've probably seen 5000 hands to make 400$. I keep 4 windows open at once and each table sees ~60 hands an hour for a total of 240 hands per hour. Times just over 20 hrs

I've also earned enough player points for the weekly minor players points freeroll (no entry fee, free money if you win) with a top prize of 650$ and total prizes of 3000$.

That's tonight at 9. Wish me luck...

How so? It's 20$ an hour tax free for something which doesn't even feel like work. I'll take that any day of the week.

Jon, are you getting a massive stipend that I don't know about? Because doubling my salary of 2.5 hrs "work" every night sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Especially because I'd play poker for play money.

Goddamn it, it happened again!

First hand of the night, I'm A-Q off suit, flop the Ace, bet hard.

Eventually, the river comes. No chance for a flush, only a remote possibility of a straight. No pairs on the board.

And I get beat by two pair, on a 2 and a King that came on the turn and the river respectively, by a guy who was holding a 2-K suited. He didn't even have a chance for the flush after the flop! And he stayed in with a PAIR OF TWOs on the turn!

MOTHER****ER!

Hey, Guynemer is learning my frustration now. I never play online anymore, although I would with you guys. My only exception to that rule is that sometimes I'll play tournaments.

I play 3-5 times a week in live games, and that's fine for me. I'm already up around $250 on the week, and I have games tonight, tomorrow, and Saturday
