BREAKING NEWS
The air in England around major industrial areas appears to have extremely slight traces of the Disease. No one quiet knows why. The levels of concentration are not large enough to cause an infection if you only stay outside for limited amounts of time. The UN has offered an emergency shipment of a dozen thousand gas masks for the affected areas.

Flu Strain XJ15
The strain is spreading much faster than had been predicted in Britain. The UN has offered $50 million in international aid to help contain the epidemic.
Finland gets a case! But medical inspection reveals it didn't originate in Russia. Not that the Russians will mind where it came from.
An explosion of cases around Las Vegas results in the upgrade of the United States's exposure. No one knows why.
Iraq has explosively deteriorated. The country rages with infection, the US has given up ground, and when they give up ground, anarchy comes over the ground they give up. Smart border management has minimized Saudi and Syrian infections from Iraq, however.
China continues to be fatally crippled with infection. The sheer, massive numbers of people that are taken under with the disease have flooded hospitals, charities, morgues, cemetaries, crematories. They're all full and waiting, and the dead stack exponentially higher every day. Only the incredible amount of Chinese prevents the country from slipping away.

CHEMICAL SPRAYING TO BEGIN TODAY
Damascus- Minister of Health  has announced a start of the chemical spray program on the Iraqi border to prevent further spread of XJ15 from Iraq and other bordering nations. The chemicals will come from the military stockpile. When asked why this program had not started earlier, Minister of War  said, "We've had these things all the time, but we had to wait until the
United States had enough problems on their own hands that we could get away with it." Although details are classified, it is believed that some of the aerial sprays will be strategically positioned to blow towards Iraqi border villages. When asked if the couple of infected Syrian villages near the border would be sprayed, would not give a definite answer, rather stating "That, *ahem* depends on the way the wind blows".

XJ15: WHAT EVERY SYRIAN NEEDS TO KNOW
Ministry of Information- Reports from abroad inform us that XJ15 flu strain is a infectious disease that causes death in the majority of those infected. Our own investigations, however, have shown that the disease does more than physical harm. In fact, this virus not only takes the life, but also the soul of those it kills. Religious expert  is still working on a full explanation, but for the time being offers the advice that those wishing to make it to heaven should best stay at home and pray, rather than congregating in public. Minister of Information  agrees and will be producing a radio program on this matter, airing five times every day to educate the population.
