GIven Coulter knew she was offered an option to write for USA Today opposite Moore, I'm sure the implication was to write as Demogogic pieces as possible. WHen USA TOday pulled the proverbial rug out from underneath her, that left Moore the opportunity (or perhaps he was actually smart enough to learn from her mistakes)to write in a fashion that appears almost reasonable. OTOH all it takes is a casual read to understand its nothing but polished misinformation.

Yesterfay it made me sick too, but I think it's because we aren't used to this. I have yet to see anything like it in national politics, the only group that comes within a 1000 miles of it are called extremists.
Perhaps we shouldn't take it too serious and see it for what it is...

God, Ahnolds message is ironic beyond belief- to think that the people gathered around him trully give a **** about immigrants is absurd- so absurd as to be insulting.

I am an immigrant, I work with a permanent resident in my office- many of my constituents are immigrants, which is no surprise given 40% of NYC is foreign born. In my work I see every day what the republican controlled congress has done to the rights of permanent residents and legal immigrants- they have stripped them of most access to the safety net programs which they pay for out tax rates identical to citizens. It is under republicn Congresses that the INS and its predecessors hjave been given the power to esssential take away all civil rights from an immigrant accused of a crime. And our immigration bureaucracy is the worst bureaucracy of all- people wait YEARS upon years to become citizens, and until they do they have limited rights, yet pay the same taxes- and generally are too poor to benefit from regressive Republican tax strategies.

Hearing an ex-movie start talk to a bunch of rich white people from Oklahoma about how much they all care for immigrants is political theater at its most absurd.

Why don't you go back to Panama? You're obviously not grateful for the opportunities you gained when you moved to America, so why don't you just do us all a favor and go back? There's plenty of positive-people in the Arnold Schwarzenegger vein that would love to be **** on like you are. I, for one, would like to see them get that opportunity.

See Nebraska boy- you are a perfect example of why republicans trying to pass as friedns of immigrants is the ultimate load of bullshit.

1. I would be better of in Panama in a material sense- in Panama the middle class gets to own multiple homes in the beach, and in the mountains, gets to have maids and cooks. Most of my aunts and uncles who are upper middle class have multiple homes, including their beach homes, get to have maids and whatever, and give Panama's location, there is simply NOTHING in the world you can;t have in Panama. Hell, the Chinese food is better over there, and lobster is cheap. Hell, I grew up with a maid, going to private school, so forth an so on.

The difference, and its something you would not understand, is that that confort for the upper classes is born of poverty and inequality and of greact corruption. The offer of the US is not in "the free market", **** the free market- the promise in born in rule of law. But what is disgusting is to see hicks like you and the repugs seek to undermine that to continue their xenophobic ways- of all the immigrants in this country-they get an Austrian? What, they couldn't find an albino one?

And as I said, my job is to help the people who come to get help from the governmment (something that never happens in Panama), and when I try to help them I see where the problems in the system are, and when it comes to immigrants, nothing is worse for them than republicans in congress-nothing. The lives of immigrants were getting harder and harder even pre-9/11. It is their faith in a better future, not your cynical hatred, that keeps the going and refusing to believe that people like you actually represent this country.
