I saw it on the local news. Not much of my own to add, but I liked our state response.
quote: State Democratic Party Chairman Ron Oliver said the president has not made the grade when it comes to jobs, education, security or health care. "Since Bush took office, 86,000 people in this state have lost their health insurance. We now have well over 400,000 people that have no health insurance in Arkansas."
Oliver says Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (website/newsbio) will help Arkansas families. He says by implementing Kerry's health care plan, 290,000 more people in Arkansas will be provided health insurance coverage. |
