Day 4: What little red button?
Construction firms went belly up worldwide, as only two contracts came up for bid. One was for Doc's new city of 13th, and the other was for Skanky Burns's city of +4. Doc was eager to show off his empire's wealth, while Skanky simply needed housing for all the refugees that crammed into +1 after the destruction of +2 and +3.
Both were to be among the wisest investments in real estate history.
A third city known as Translucence was possibly built by DarkCloud, however, our cameras only show a blurry haze where it ought to be.

That said, five presidents went to work today and decided it was time to bump someone off. The Vlad-Kuci-koo war raged out of control today as the two sides exchanged nuclear shots. Kuci-koo barely survived, and was heard saying "oh **** i'm so ****ed" when he recieved the news. (Internal sources insist the Grand Leader had said "oh **** survived the attack", though the last three words were hard to make out through the static.)
Vlad didn't fare quite as well. The rubble had barely settled on Fork and Plate when three missiles from his other enemy, Jonny, arrived and bounced the rocks.
Jonny also had a present for Skanky Burns, though it was more taking and less giving, with the city of +1 blown to bits.
A cold war between GeneralTacticus and Sparrowhawk turned hot early afternoon, when Sparrow decided to make the first move and deal GT a knockout blow of four missiles. Not one of GT's three cities survived.
In another border squabble gone bad, Spaced Cowboy dropped a quad on Doc, also hoping for a no-response. However, he was frustrated by the newly built city of 13th. Spaced's security chief insisted that the city did not exist in yesterday's spy plane overflight, the Cowboy had him locked up anyway.
