Day 5: Slow news day

After the last rather explosive day, Day Five started a quiet one. So quiet that in all but one nation, even our best reporters could hardly spot a person on the street.

One president decided to break the air of secrecy though.

Kuci-koo, for reasons unknown, decided to lob a pair at Sparrowhawk. While Hiroshima and Nagasaki would become the 34th and 35th cities destroyed by nuclear weapons, Sparrow's empire was emerged mostly intact, and still three times the size of Kuci-koos. It was not known if Kuci-koo would do another Kuci-koo this time around in the future.

Better yet... maybe sending Smiley the same orders was invalid because Darkcloud (who is obviously the most powerful player on the board and looks like a sure thing to win this game) bunkered last turn to avoid the expected onslaught of nukes and with no bunkers left has attempted to bunker again this turn?
