Oh, how did you do your survey?
Was it a polite telephone call to the usual house of torture, a face to face interview with the dreaded Slava Nobotnik, torturer at large and Commie paedo pimp, or did you just do a great big
FEZ
and come up with the figures?
'And I was just being funny.'
Yes, Pedro Poopy Pants, but not intentionally, and not in that post. |
Well we have commies like Hitler, Castro, Pol Pot, Mussolini, Idi Amin, Mao Zedong, Brezhnev and a few others.
I can only think of some insignificant military dictators in some latin american countries that are on the right wing.
So it can be safe to say there are more commie murdering dictators.

Given the leftist bias of the Globe and Mail, that they would report any intimidation by Chavez is remarkable, and ought to be cited as evidence in favour.
And here's the cite for the previous article.
http://quote.bloomberg.com/apps/new...r=latin_america |
They didn't cite any intimidation. They said:
'Thousands of citizens who had signed the petition that triggered the referendum lost jobs, pensions or suffered harassment.'
Alas none of these 'thousands' are presented to give their views on this alleged intimidation or harassment, and we are somehow meant to conclude a link between the referendum (and presumably not voting 'for' Chavez) and the loss of their jobs and pensions.
The harassment isn't gone into in any detail, nor is it linked with Chavez, or his supporters with any evidence, we're just meant to intuit that, apparently.
'Many feared that their choice would be known to the government, and the ubiquitous presence of machine-gun-toting soldiers inside and outside the polling stations reinforced this concern.'
Gosh, I see police outside polling stations in Great Britain from time to time- should I be worried?
Your name is crossed off a list when you turn up to vote and you're given a slip to vote on- perhaps they're keeping tabs that way too!
So far just more flummery.
Now you can say the Globe and Mial is leftist, and frankly given your politics I'll take that with a metric ton of Maldon sea salt, thanks.
However, it's on the comment page of the Globe and Mail, and the comment is by:
KEN FRANKEL and JOHN GRAHAM.
They aren't Globe and Mial journalists, are they?
In fact they're O.A.S. observers, and this is how they're otherwise employed:
'Ken Frankel, a partner at Hodgson Russ LLP and a board member of the Canadian Foundation for the Americas (FOCAL), and John Graham, former Canadian ambassador to Venezuela and chair of FOCAL' .
FOCAL is described as an independent policy making group (which tells us nothing about its politics) and Hodgson Russ LLP is one of Canada's oldest law firms- again, telling us nothing about the firm's politics, or thsoe of John Graham or Ken Frankel.
So, a few more of Obi Gyn's assumptions and assertions unveiled.
