For you liberal. 3 Arab men are in front of your house taking measurement and drawing a sketch of your neigherhood, what do you do? According to you liberal, take no action because they are just making a drawing and have every right to make a drawing. For us Conservative, we call the police, take pictures of them with a gun in hand and maybe shoot the SOBs if they do anything stupid.

And hopefully, someone witnesses, calls police on you, police find evidence that says they were sketch drawing, and gets you 25-to-life.

Iran, as I understand it, doesn't have as much oil as China, which is somewhat in need of "liberating".

And while I may be continuing to feed the troll, I would actually call my local authorities. In fact, I would do it if they were Chinese, Black, or White, because if someone I don't know is taking measurements and sketches of my house, I'm gonna be suspicious anyways. But I'm not gonna just shoot them out of spite.

Actually, I know for a fact that a lot of liberals would not notice the 3 Arab men, because they would be far too busy protesting the current administration downtown.

On the other hand, the conservatives wouldn't notice the 3 Arab men, because they would be getting red in the face at hearing the latest liberal outrage being told them by Hannity or some other suitable rightist talk show host.

Wrong.

If a liberal saw Osama, he would probably not realize it was him.

If a conservative saw Osama, he would probably not realize it was him.

They'd only realize it was Osama if they were looking for him.

I'm saying if they did realize it was him. If the liberal realized it was him, he would try to talk about peace and doves. While the conservative would do the same, and then keep talking.. until he shoots the hidden silenced 9MM under his coat at Osama.

that's not true either.

the liberal would say hi, have a conversation, maybe ask why, then suckerpunch the bastard.

At least Cheney is engaging in a debate over the issue, unlike Kerry who just goes "HOW DARE YOU QUESTION MY PATRIOTISM!? I WON THREE PURPLE HEARTS!" whenever Kerry's defense positions/votes come under scrutiny.

Gee, Shi, isn't that a little like the Administration responding with "How dare you question this Administration!" every time someone confronts them?

The difference is, the answers to the questions about Kerry don't really matter.

The adminstration talks about issues today, not a war that happened thirty years ago like Kerry who can't seem to drop it. It is funny, McCain who was in a POW camp for a few years doesn't talk about the Vietnam war as much as Kerry.

McCain talked about it quite a bit when he was running for president. And Bush orchestrated a smear campaign to discredit McCain's heroism, too.

But he says he doesn't talk about it much anymore. And he certainly did not talk about as much as Kerry did (whose 4 months were probably mostly spent in Saigon).

If McCain we're running for president against a Dem who weaseled out of service in Nam, do you think he'd be talking about Nam much? My guess is that he'd never shut up about it, just the same way that Bob Dole's '96 campaign was coated in WWII nostalgia designed to distinguish him from that year's draft-dodging prez.

That's just politics. But the difference between Clinton and Bush is that Clinton never questioned Dole's service or patriotism, whereas the Bushies have had the audacity to orchestrate smears against at least three men with distiguished war records (Kerry, McCain, and max Cleland). That's right: the difference between Clinton and Bush is that Clinton has some shred of decency left.

All of that aside, people should just drop it and talk about the issues. I even have problems with the people who wrote that book on Kerry and Kerry himself for making it a political campaign slogan.

it's funny since it are the republicans who can't seem to shut up about it ...

so, what exactely has the current administration done right ?

domestic :
huge deficit
tax cuts for the rich
reduced personal freedom
still not recovered from the economic collapse caused by a year of warmongering talks (with respect to the stockmarkets : uncertainty kills...)

foreign policy
alienated all but one traditional allies
war in two countries (i never understood why iraq and not afghanistan had to be the example of how an arab country can be converted to a reasonable state of freedom and democracy * wink oil wink *)
a bunch of third world countries put on the axis of evil who now have to do everything they can to get nuclear weapons in order to ensure their survival

etc ...

yeah, they made america and the world a better, safer and more hopeful place...

as far as the economy concerns you're still recovering...
you 'liberated' iraq, whatever that means for the average iraqi
you liberated afghanisthan, backed by the entire international community : so ok, this point i will give you, half a thing done right.
in sudan nothing happens, in lybia nothing happens ...

you'll have to do better than this, boy
