What's up in the Poly fantasy league? We had 3 guys who played people on a bye week, and a 4th who didn't have a defense in his lineup.

Pretty sad "participation" for Week 4. Wish I'd been playing one of those teams.

Instead, I have to sit home tonight and watch Jamal Lewis steal my game with Berz (after Kerry Collins, Torry Holt, and Santana Moss combined for all of 14 points). FIVE turnovers for Collins. Idiot.

Oh well. Whatever. (heavy sigh)

That is pretty sad for just week 4.
That is one of the major problems with head to head leagues... If some people quit early, the winner is sometimes totally based on the schedule vs actual skill and knowledge. People that get to play the quitters late get a real advantage.

That's why I like to play in leagues with people that I know, and who are proven veterans who will try their best to win no matter what. Usually you can count on a single person dropping out... but 4 guys not paying attention by week four.

Argh!!! I claimed the NYJ defense from FA because they were playing Miami, and got me 22 points.

I forgot to set them to my defensive starter though and got stuff all.

That awesome KC defense managed to hold Jamal Lewis to 13.30 pts, allowing me to hold off Berzerker in what must be the closest game of the year.

I had no way of knowing what he would do after his father died. I think I was playing against him in a fantasy league as well . I might be this week as well. I'll have to check.

as for the poly league, I didn't play any bye week guys.

although I screwed up week 2 and played a wide reciever that was getting me almost no points. I dropped warrick. he doesn't even seem to return kicks/punts anymore.

And I'm still royally pissed at the Ravens defense. I knew I shouldn't have taken them so high in the draft . They couldn't even stop Priest Holmes. . Nor could they score any points for my team.

Warrick's been hurt. Probably safe to drop.

Getting points from ANY defense when they play teams like KC, StL, NE, and Seattle is dodgy at best.

My big problem has been getting points from kicker. He has ONE FG attempt all year so far...

This is the day of reconing for the Rams. They play at Seatle. If they get stomped I don't think they have much hope of making the playoffs since their scedule is so tough. If they at least hold some ground maybe there's hope. Of course I hope they win, but nothing I've seen this year so far indicates that that's very likely.

Well, a few weeks ago I asked whether Detroit and Atlanta were for real. I was assured by Imran that Atanta was for real, but not Detroit.

Well, Imran got that right as usual.

Detroit might actually be the best team in the division, although the Vikes seem to be the consensus choice.
