The word on Julian Peterson is torn Achilles, done for the year...

I pray to god Simms' shoulder injury isn't serious. I mean, Griese did a fabulous job in his stead, but the LAST thing we need is MORE injuries...

Dammit, why did Brady have to suck this week? I'd be in much better shape to overtake Zop (44 POINTS from LEFTWICH? WTF?) if I'd started Big Ben instead, and now I have to hope that Chris Brown does his best Shaun Alexander Week 1 imitation while the Titans' D shuts Franks down...

Spurrier was the last coach/team to beat the world champion Patriots. The same team who has won 19 straight games.

Well at least I have the Lions. Better than the last few years when I rooted for the 'skins and Lions and BOTH sucked. Of course there is plenty of time for Detroit to turn around, but I intend to enjoy my fleeting moment of pride.
