Turn 5 - He is jedi at last


After exposing his weakness in his abortive mission against Whoha, Lord Vader knew he would be a target this turn. He couldn’t quite make out who the attacker or the attackers would be, but he was pretty sure an attack against him would happen. The simple question arouse from his situation: What to do next?

Obviously, there were two options for him. He could either hide behind his shield, which would repel any attack, but would only slightly damage his enemies, or he could rely on his mastery of the Force and try and guess his enemies’ order of battle and inflict a crushing defeat on them. He chose the latter.

And when the allied fleet of the Kassi-joncha alliance appeared in the vicinity of Skywalker’s bases, he immediately knew their order of battle. He just needed to adjust his own fleet’s order of battle and secure victory. He started to issue his orders:

“Our tactical options will be back off and bunch together. Our order of battle is torpedoes first, fighters second, …”

At that moment his comm-link was interrupted. He was unable to transmit his full orders to the commanders of his fleet. Joncha’s spy disrupted the Empire’s communications and Vader could only watch in horror the events that unfolded from there.

Lacking instructions, his admirals decided to follow the pattern and set lasers third in the order of battle. This decision would prove disastrous.

Battle No. 1: Kassiopeia and joncha attack Kuciwalker
Kassiopeia: 6LT, 6FT, 5TT, 7LD, 7FD, 7TD, 1LB, 1FB, 1TB, 2TF, OoB: LFT-LFT, normal, normal
Joncha: 3LD, 2FD, 3TD, 1FC, 2LF, 3FF, 2TF, OoB: LFT-LFT, normal, normal
Allied total: 6LT, 6FT, 5TT, 10LD, 9FD, 10TD, 1LB, 1FB, 1TB, 1FC, 2LF, 3FF, 4TF, OoB: LFT-LFT, normal, normal
Kuciwalker: 8LT, 8FT, 8TT, 1TC, OoB: TFL-TFL, back off, bunch together


37.5L – 84T – the allies take 46 hits
37F – 40F – the allies take 3 hits
288T – 20L – Kuciwalker takes 268 hits and his entire fleet is destroyed

Sensing that the end is near, Anakin Skywalker renounces the Dark side of the Force and embraces the Light side. When joncha strikes him with a lightsabre, Kuciwalker gives himself to the Force where he will continue to exist as a non-corporeal entity for all eternity.

The allies split the captured bases three each. Joncha loses 2 laser frigates and 2 laser dreadnaughts and Kassiopeia loses 1 laser battleship and 2 laser dreadnaughts and his third laser dreadnaught is damaged.

Whoha, who has suffered a terrible setback in the previous round, started negotiations to secure at least one base. He visited Spaced Cowboy personally to try and persuade him to surrender a base. He threatened he would attack him if he didn’t yield. But Spaced Cowboy remained firm.
So the minute Whoha left Spaced Cowboy’s bases, he sent orders to his fleet to attack Spaced Cowboy and fight to the death. These orders never reached his fleet commanders however as a spy sent by Kassiopeia disrupted Whoha’s communications.

Whoha’s fleet suffers 10% attrition. His agony continues.

The efforts of General Tacticus to construct a shield generator around his newest base have been foiled by a spy Emperor Smiley of the Romulan Empire sent his way.

But why did Emperor Smiley send a spy at GT? Because he was on the move. The sneaky Romulan decided to attack Kassiopeia. And it paid off.

Battle No. 2: Smiley attacks Kassiopeia
Smiley: 10TT, 10FD, 4TD, OoB: TTF-FLL, back off, normal, fight to the death
Kassiopeia: 1LB, 1FB, 1TB, OoB: TLF-TLF, back off, normal

Kassiopeia’s defensive fleet is obliterated and Smiley takes control of Kassi’s 12(!) bases!
The Romulan Empire has all but won now.

Turn 6 - Whoha's last hooray



Emperor Skanky decided to send two spies this turn to assess the strength of his main opponents: Smiley and Spaced Cowboy.

Smiley raised some kind of energy barrier which was set to allow the passage only to the people with Romulan DNA. Skanky’s spy was incinerated passing through this barrier.

His other spy had more luck as he was not only able to infiltrate Spaced Cowboy’s bases, but also to destroy his newly constructed shield generator.

Emperor Skanky could easily be pleased with his achievements, but it would soon become apparent that he sent his spies to the wrong place. Whoha came out of warp and ordered an attack to the death.

Battle No. 1: Whoha attacks Skanky Burns
Whoha: 27FF, 21TF, 1 damaged TF, OoB: FTT-FLL, back off, spread out, fight to the death
Skanky Burns: 1LT, 1FT, 14TT, 5LD, 4FD, 5TD, 1LF, 1TF, OoB: TTF-FLL, back off, normal

54F – 45.5T – Skanky Burns takes 8 hits
21T – 45.5T – Whoha takes 24 hits
21T – 84F – Whoha takes 63 hits

Skanky Burns loses one torpedo frigate and his one torpedo dreadnaught is damaged. Whoha does not lose his entire fleet, but in the next round he suffers additional 42 hits and his entire fleet is destroyed.

Whoha is eliminated.
