According to Democrat Patrick Caddell, the Kerry remark was calculated. It was directed at his base, the black and Hispanic vote, who by large majorities are strongly against gay marriage. He was trying to signal them that the other side was "conflicted" on this issue and not solidly against gay marriage.

wiglaf, Sure. Mentioning sexuality in presidential debate is not a good thing to do, not to mention respectful. Cheney could turn thsi into victory like I said, but looks like he isn't. No matter though, Kerry was the one bringing it up so... I'm not defending Kerry at all. I'm just hoping Cheney would use smart tactics and take the win over this issue.

As for Mr. Funny, I have no proof he is dead, but look at the facts, he is an old fart in a cave, the possibility of infection is very great. And he has not radioed in any of his little speeches in a long time. But that is neither here nor there. The point is that he is not the point. OBL dying will not end the war on terror, maybe you should think twice before playing chess with the future of this country.

Your facts:

1) OBL is an old fart.

2) He is in a cave, where risk of infection is increased due to lack of access to medical care.

So you posted facts that do not even prove that he is dead, but rather, you just want to assume that OBL is dead from these assortment of facts you stated.

THE POINT is , it doesn't matter if he is alive or dead. Terrorism can continue on without him. Of course John Kerry would have you believe OBL is the root of our problems , as if he is the only guy who can band together a bunch of terrorists

And yes I think he is dead, caves are not sanitary, and on top of this, he ain't talking, because he is dead, I believe, but again, that is not the point.

You're right -- it's crazy to hold a person who organized the horrible 9/11 attacks as primarily responsible for the attacks.
