This seems more like the basis for an argument limiting the rights of ignorant adults to vote rather than a basis for expanding suffrage to younger teenagers.

BTW, I just listened to the Audio of your interview on the youth website. I disagree with you, but I thought that you did a good job. I know I'd be nervous in that situation. How nervous were you?

If you apply a standard of literacy and knowledge of civics, age won't matter.
