Yes.

The argument was given that they are able to try both.

Amazon doesn't count in that regard. Hell, they may not know it exists. They probably do a keyword search for 'iPod' and hit "buy"...

I disagree.

First my argument wasn't that the Touch would outsell the iPod, but the marketshare would be different. Your listing of the Top 5 on amazon doesn't break down marketshare -- for all you know it could be demonstrating that Creative has far more than like 2-3% marketshare.

Second, my argument was always given that both are in the store for people to try, the marketshare would be different.

It doesn't matter, you have absolutely nothing other than speculation or individual tales to prove this. Hence, your point is moot. For most of this thread people have been trying to tell you this.
